Local coverage

Our team is based in London and covers the capital and the full M25 corridor, from central and West London out to the home counties. West London in particular — the Heathrow corridor, Park Royal and Hammersmith — is regular working territory.

We regularly work across London and the M25, including West London, the City of London, Croydon, Ealing, Watford and the M25 home counties.

Why London buildings need fire damper testing

London concentrates the most demanding damper work in the country: high-rise mechanically-ventilated residential now under intense post-Grenfell scrutiny, dense central-London commercial and hotel estates, and the West London industrial and logistics belt around Park Royal and the Heathrow corridor. Ductwork here is often extensive, congested and awkward to access, and the regulatory expectation on documented, in-date fire damper testing is as high as anywhere in the UK. Occupied buildings that never close — hotels, hospitals, trading offices — are the norm rather than the exception.

How the testing works

Wherever the building is, the method is the same: we locate and register every fire damper, physically drop-test each one to confirm it closes, repair or replace any that fail, and issue full certification — in line with BS 9999:2017 and HTM 03-01, at intervals not exceeding 12 months. For the full detail on drop testing, standards and remedial works, see our fire damper testing service.

Common questions

Do you cover West London specifically?

Yes — West London, including the Heathrow corridor and Park Royal, is one of our most regular areas, alongside central London and the wider M25.

Can you test out of hours to avoid disrupting a live building?

Yes. Much of our London work is in occupied hotels, offices and healthcare buildings, and we plan testing around operational hours wherever it's needed.
